Bone Density is a simple noninvasive scan that evaluates your bones for osteoporosis. The scan takes approximately 15-20 minutes for completion and will give you and your provider information so that action can be taken to improve bone density or decrease the progression of it.

Sherry is a graduate of SUNY, Upstate Medical University with an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology. She has over 30 years of experience working in various X-ray settings including hospital, cardiac cath lab, imaging centers, urgent care settings and private doctors’ offices including family practice and endocrinology. She has always enjoyed the one-on-one relationships she has with her patients. Sherry became interested in Bone Density testing due to a strong family history of osteoporosis. She began training in Dexa scanning in 2003 and passed the Advanced Certification exam in Bone Densitometry in 2007. She lives in Lafayette with her husband Tom they have one son, Matthew.
